Interviewing Nick de Bois

Loving Social Media and Nick De Bois:

LSM had the opportunity to interview Nick de Bois and ask him some burning questions.

I will never forget Nick being so supportive about protecting Enfield during such a difficult time.

On Sunday evening, 7 August 2011, violent disturbances erupted in Enfield, to the north of Tottenham, among a heavy presence of riot police. Disorder ensued around 5:30 when a police car in Church Street was pelted with bricks. Shops were attacked, including HMV’s branch in Church Street.

De Bois discussed personally witnessing the violence in Enfield in a House of Commons speech. He paid tribute to the actions of the local police force in Enfield but called for a rethink of police tactics to allow the use of water cannons, and suggested that schools should help to identify the rioters based on video footage.
