Instagram influencers will be massive if you have a following of more than 7,000 they call you an influencer there’s people out there charging ridiculous amounts of money to induce a brand you can’t abuse your your audience hashtags as we know are becoming less important we know that likes have now been taken off of Instagram so I’ll give you some stats 1 billion Instagram monthly users that’s unbelievable and I can only see this influence and growing more and more and more what the government do with legislation it was on the news yesterday that they want to tighten up social media and how that affects young people because we got body shaming and and all different types of thing on there so depending on how the government treat the legislation I can just see Instagram growing and growing and growing and being the dominant force it’s got a young and old demographic beautiful pictures I’ll give you some more stats 34 percent of Instagram users of 25 to 34 and 31% of 18 to 24 Instagram the average time we will spend on Instagram is about half an hour I find that amazing for me my prediction for Instagram in the future more people will spend money on it it’s only gonna grow that ones on the way up my prediction for Twitter Wow how did Twitter start I absolutely love Twitter how did it start it started really with text messaging an SMS message online things nowadays Twitter describes itself as a news platform and it really is well Donald Trump is still using Twitter to spread his message you’ve got the Prime Minister of England preferring to use social media rather than the conventional media to send out a message my prediction for the Twitter as long as the long as the politicians carry on using it it will be our dominant force to find information I can only see it growing prediction as well I think that lists are way underused so if you don’t know what a list is then start building one because list is how you get all that noise from your from your timeline and you can accurately build that list so you can categorize people there’s private lists and public lists I remember reading a social media expert and he what he was saying that unless you’re on more than a hundred lists you’re nobody and I don’t think I agree with that but certainly have a look at lists have a look at Twitter you can’t write this off if there’s some huge stature 145 million people active users use this thing if you’re spending money and you’re trying to attract the right audience Twitter is definitely something you should think about when I go to the BBC I see the journalists before when I used to go to the BBC one or two journalists had it on there on their PCs now everybody’s got it on their PCs I know the BBC will wait to see if it hits Twitter to give the news justification before it breaks 92% of the u.s. population is familiar with Twitter sites even it’s just as high as in UK 22% of adults use Twitter 40.4% around twenty four years old you’ve got to be able to spell it’s a it’s an intelligent platform there’s no community there though so I think unless you know how to use hashtags properly you create your community I can only see Twitter on the way up okay YouTube’s search engine optimization and Google that’s the daddy of all search it holds the web together so we’ll put that together my prediction for to 22:21 is that search marketing will become even more powerful it decides if you’re chasing your customer that’s one thing when you’re channel that customer comes to you that’s a lot easier so pay-per-click will become easier to do the route of entry won’t be so high I think that they call it an India tax when you don’t have a negative word search if you know what I’m talking about they up up in the top right hand corner it’s called the snippet you see less snippets I think that Google will give the top top ranking the top position to those who have the most relevance so I don’t think that you can get there just by paying the the relationship between one page and another blogging for 220 I think will be huge of your blogging and you’re using about a thousand words a thousand to one and a half thousand growing and the market is understanding how it works so have fun and create some videos ok so link them what’s our prediction for this I can only see this on the way up in the social media world people are very excited about the organic traffic of LinkedIn LinkedIn are investing lots of money in their groups they’re trying to re-energize those community he’s trying to re energize your fan base so I’ll hit some stats with you 660 million users in 200 countries that’s enormous 57% of LinkedIn users are male 37% are adult they say the average salary of someone on LinkedIn is 50,000 pounds per annum that’s amazing so I can only see LinkedIn on the way up the it’s a great place for organic traffic try and be different though use video certainly share if you have a business I would predict I would say that the business side the business page will just get more and more momentum stories selling tell stories sell they say so try not to be too factual try and say a story so I’ll tell you a story about LinkedIn I’ve got my biggest client from LinkedIn just through consistent posting and I think you’ll hear that more and more people saying I got my biggest climb from LinkedIn your emails to people that are engaged and care about what you’re selling so email marketing don’t underestimate it still is the best return on investment it just takes a long time to get to eight thousand ten thousand emails of engaged customers that takes a while you can’t just spam them you need to be adding value and it kind of wraps everything up because all this content you’d be making you can put that on your email marketing don’t spam certainly the statistics say that you should send out an email on Tuesday morning or because everybody’s sending out on a Tuesday morning that’s your least effective don’t give up on email marketing I’m saying that’s on the way up and I predict that it’s gonna be just as strong just you need skill don’t just send it when everyone sending it
