No need for self-promotion
Do you feel like people just throw their business cards to you and expect you to buy their product? P, joins Dr. Misner and shares a valuable tip on the best way to pass your business card to someone. (Hint: it’s not all about you!)
Please share your comments on Dr. Misner’s blog: www.businessnetworking.com
Before I share my method with you, I want to make sure you know what’s NOT required:
#1: No need for self-promotion. I’m sure this goes without saying, but people who constantly brag about themselves are the people who get ignored. That’s not the way to success.
#2: You don’t need to be flashy, pushy—or perfect. Renting expensive cars and mansions as backdrops for videos is also a mistake. It’s NOT about the things you have, it’s about the knowledge and experience within you, and how you use it in the service of others. And you don’t need to be perfectly polished. You just need to be you.
#3: You also don’t have to be outgoing or extroverted. Many of the most well-known online pros are introverts, including Pat Flynn and Amy Porterfield. If they can do it, so can you!
Now that you know what’s NOT required, let me tell you about the 6 things you SHOULD do if you want to become well-known in your industry.
I made a video for you describing my entire process called, “The DREAMS Method.”
