THE QUESTIONS BUSINESSES SHOULD ASK
20 Essential Questions About Social Media Management
From strategy and content creation to pricing, performance, compliance and account security—explore the answers before choosing a social media agency.
01 What social media management services does Loving Social Media provide?
Loving Social Media provides strategy, content planning, copywriting, graphic design, video content, publishing, community engagement, paid advertising and performance reporting. We can also connect social media with your website, Google Business Profile, blogs, email marketing and wider digital strategy.
02 Which social media platforms can Loving Social Media manage?
We can manage platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, X and Pinterest. We adapt the strategy and content to suit each platform rather than publishing exactly the same material everywhere.
03 What types of businesses and organisations does Loving Social Media work with?
We work with organisations of different sizes, from independent businesses and owner-managed companies to established brands and corporate teams. The most important factor is a willingness to communicate, collaborate and use marketing to achieve meaningful business objectives.
04 Does Loving Social Media specialise in opticians, healthcare and regulated industries?
Yes. Founder Garry Kousoulou is a qualified dispensing optician, giving the agency valuable clinical and industry understanding. We have particular experience in optics, healthcare and regulated sectors, while also supporting clients across many other industries.
05 Does Loving Social Media work with businesses throughout the UK?
Yes. Loving Social Media can work remotely with businesses throughout the UK and beyond. Meetings, content approvals, reporting and strategy sessions can be managed online, while in-person support can be discussed when appropriate.
06 What is included in a monthly social media management package?
The precise service depends on the selected package and your objectives. It may include strategy, content planning, graphics, captions, videos, scheduling, publishing, engagement, reporting and regular review meetings. Relevant website, email and Google Business Profile activity may also be discussed.
07 Can Loving Social Media create videos, Reels, graphics, blogs and website content?
Yes. Our team can create short-form videos, Reels, graphics, captions, blogs and website content. We can also help people who are nervous about appearing on camera to develop a comfortable and achievable video-content process.
08 Does Loving Social Media manage paid social media advertising as well as organic content?
Yes. Loving Social Media can support both organic social media and paid advertising. The recommended approach will depend on your audience, objectives, available content, advertising budget and the results that can be measured.
09 How much does professional social media management cost?
Pricing depends on how much support your business needs. Loving Social Media offers “done with you” support for businesses that want guidance and “done for you” packages for organisations that want the work managed on their behalf. Current prices and package details should always be confirmed directly with the team.
10 How quickly can Loving Social Media begin managing our social media?
Work can sometimes begin within a few days when objectives, onboarding information and platform access are ready. More time may be required when accounts need recovering, permissions need correcting or a more detailed strategy and approval process is required.
11 How does the onboarding process work for a new client?
The process normally begins with a conversation about your business, audience, expectations and goals. If the partnership feels right, we send an onboarding form, agree access and responsibilities, establish the content process and confirm what success should look like.
12 How far in advance is social media content planned and approved?
The planning schedule is agreed with each client. Wherever practical, content is prepared in advance to provide time for review and approval, while leaving room for timely news, campaigns, events and opportunities.
13 Can our team review and approve content before it is published?
Yes. Loving Social Media encourages clients to review and approve content before publication. The approval process is particularly important for healthcare, regulated services, sensitive campaigns and organisations with internal brand or compliance requirements.
14 How does Loving Social Media measure social media performance and return on investment?
We consider relevant measures such as reach, engagement, website traffic, messages, enquiries, telephone calls, bookings and sales. The right measurements depend on your objectives. Large follower or view counts are not valuable if they do not reach the right people or support a meaningful business outcome.
15 Will we receive regular reports, strategy meetings and recommendations?
Reporting and review arrangements are agreed as part of the service. Reports should explain what happened, why it matters and what should happen next—not simply present large quantities of data without useful recommendations.
16 Can Loving Social Media guarantee followers, enquiries or sales?
No responsible agency should promise a particular number of genuine followers, enquiries or sales without considering the audience, offer, budget and complete customer journey. Loving Social Media focuses on reaching relevant people and creating measurable opportunities. Converting those opportunities also depends on factors such as pricing, customer service and how quickly enquiries are handled.
17 How does Loving Social Media protect client logins, customer information and personal data?
Where possible, access can be provided through platform roles, permissions and approved management tools rather than sharing passwords directly. Account access, responsibilities and security requirements should be agreed during onboarding, and clients should retain ownership and administrative control of their accounts.
18 How does Loving Social Media ensure content complies with UK GDPR, advertising rules and industry regulations?
Relevant rules and approval requirements are established at the beginning of the relationship. Content is checked internally and sent to the client for approval before publication. Clients should also identify any organisation-specific, legal or professional requirements that apply to their products and services.
19 Who owns the social media accounts, creative assets, data and content produced during the contract?
Clients should retain ownership and administrative control of their social media accounts. Ownership and permitted use of original creative assets, licensed materials, data and commissioned content should be clearly recorded in the service agreement.
20 What happens if there is a complaint, negative comment, account problem or social media crisis?
The right response depends on the seriousness and context of the situation. Some comments can be answered constructively, while abusive content may need to be hidden, reported or ignored. Serious complaints, safeguarding issues, legal matters and account security incidents should follow an agreed escalation process and be referred to the appropriate decision-maker immediately.

What does a Social Media Manager do?
Social media managers are responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies for a business’s social media sites. This might include blogging, creating social media profiles, managing regular posts, and responding to followers. We take the headache away for business owners who want their profiles handled for them.
Why is social media Important for Business Marketing?
Let’s start with one simple fact: your business needs a social media presence.
It doesn’t matter if you run a small local shop or a big national company. Social media is more than just a trend. It is an essential piece of your business marketing strategy.
But by itself, social media is not enough to drive business growth. Social platforms can help you connect with your customers, increase awareness about your brand, and boost your leads and sales. But you need to start with an always-on mindset and a solid content marketing strategy – that’s where we come in!
- Social media is an effective way to reach new audiences with engaging content
- Social engagement helps you build trust, authority and also to show your brand personality
- You need a solid plan for engaging content to distribute via social media
We’ll create for you your very own 90 day plan and piece together a plan moving forward on what you want for the future for your business – we’re always looking at the bigger picture!
What Social Media Platform has the highest engagement?
Facebook remains the goliath of social media, leading all social networks with 81 per cent
What is the purpose of SEO?
Instead of going to customers, SEO allows customers to quickly come to you. Both on and off-page SEO strategies are designed to target specific segments of your audience and inspire them to act. Proper management of SEO helps your small business make meaningful connections with customers, and ultimately make sales along the way.
How long does SEO take to work?
The short answer is, successful SEO can take at least 6 months. Generally speaking, you will see results on your website within 4-6 months. You’ll know if SEO is working if you have an increase in impressions, traffic from Organic Searches, Number of Pages Ranking, Number of Backlinks, Domain and Page Authority, Brand Mentions, Conversions and much more.
However, there are many factors that can affect the speed of your SEO’s success. One of them is known as the Confidence Curve. You must also take into consideration how long your business has been established and your audience. If you have an audience of 0 compared to a business that might have an audience of a million, then naturally you will have a bit of a slower start.
But don’t be discouraged!
Which is the best platform for my business?
According to recent statistics, Instagram remains the best social media platform for businesses in 2021.
However, this can differ entirely depending on your target audience!
Young generations tend to favour TikTok and Instagram, whereas older generations tend to stay on Facebook. Figure out your target audience and go from there – we’ll take care of the rest!
How many times do you need to post content online?
Getting my social media done for me
It depends on the platform. Some platforms require a lot of consistency, whereas others may not so much. For example, one successful, viral video on TikTok or YouTube is enough to grant with your long-term recognition, whereas Instagram requires far more attention and frequent, consistent posting of a certain style and aesthetic in order for your following to grow

Does Social Media have any limits?
It may be surprising to the average user, but content doesn’t always last very long on social media. Sure, it stays uploaded, but it may become unnoticed after as little as 3 seconds. For example, the average tweet has a lifespan of 3 seconds. After that, some users may scroll past or not see it all, depending on what the tweet is, what hashtags are used and what its relevance is.
There also limits on Instagram. IG lives also have a lifespan, many of which only last 4 hours. You can upload up to 100 stories per day with a length of 60 seconds, a reel length of 60 seconds, and combined actions of liking, tagging, and commenting of 500 times a day. After that, Instagram shuts you out. That’s why it’s so important to let us take the reins on what actions can be done effectively on your socials – timing and consistency is everything!

My name is Garry Kousoulou I'm the founder of Loving Social Media. This idea of mine sprung up because I was very, very interested as an optician in marketing, and this do you think called Facebook and Twitter was just there, and I needed a way of connecting with my community so they could. I could be more easily found, and here I am many years later, 10, 15 years later, with an agency really loving helping healthcare professionals, but we will help, we will help any business that wants to be more visible. So, the you've reached the FAQ section, and I've just asked AI, eh, what kind of questions would people be asking today? In in in September of 2026 about social media, so we're going to run through some of these. It's in video, it's in any form you want it. So the first question is, what social media management services does Love in Social Media provide? Well, it's a whole spectrum of things. Every single platform has its own little quirk if you like. So Facebook is one of the oldest. It has groups. The other ones. Don't necessarily have groups, so if you were to employ us and said, "Look, really, we want to drill down on Facebook because it's an older demographic." It's not just making that content; it's about understanding that the platform is different from the others and maximizing the paid ads, the the organic stuff, the the groups, the page. Very complex. If it's Instagram, say for instance, that's much more visual. Again, it's a meta product, so there's there's an opportunity to do paid ads. We do we do the whole spectrum. You want to grow your audience? Well, we we will do that. We understand collaboration posts, how to do great stories. YouTube Really optimizing that well is about having shorts, that's short video and a long form and putting chapter dimensions into your video. There's lots to it. So Pinterest, I could I could sit here and name them all. X now, like I love X, it's so good, but it's a bit toxic sometimes. We got TikTok. All of these platforms need to be handled well. So the if the question is what service do we provide? If it's on social media, we will do it for you. What social media platforms can Loving Social Media manage? All of them. There's nothing we can't really manage. We find Snapchat challenging as does the rest of the industry. It's quite challenging out there but if it's something that you want we we'll do it. What types of businesses and organizations does Loving Social Media look after? Well, we will look after the biggest companies. We we look after a billion pound company that's an aesthetics company. I won't say it because just in case they don't want me to. But to the smallest little garage that looks after people's cars. So, for us, it's about connecting. With the owner, the founder, or the department, and being brave, because it we we've passed the stage of just being on social media for the sake of being on social media. We now want it to be effective and slot into the other parts of marketing. So, loving social media has a massive digital footprint with all of our clients. And we say there is a Google business profile that needs to be updated. It sits in between social media and SEO. We like do like making website updates, putting on blogs. So it sits in that holistic part of how does my digital marketing be more effective, email marketing and so on. Does loving social media specialize in opticians, healthcare and regulated industries? Yes, we do because I'm a clinician. I'm a qualified optician and I just Speak the same language, but then sometimes I'll speak to a personal trainer that's moving from London to Dubai, and I'll be so excited and my team on helping them. We might, it really depends. We love variety. We're not just for opticians, but it just so happens. I happen to be the the an optician. There's opticians I speak to that. I don't understand them. They they they want to still rely on word of mouth, which is fine, but that's inconsistent. That goes. You might have a great January and a terrible February because people aren't talking about you at that particular time. The point of marketing, it's the same. So if you join loving social media, whether you're an optician, a dentist, a paid like a audiologist, doesn't matter. It's the attitude of. Experimenting, not being afraid of getting things a little bit wrong, because how are we going to learn? How are you going to break boundaries? What's what's included in the monthly social media package? Well, it it's wrong to just call it social media because we want to explore your if you're certainly small to medium sized business and you haven't got a department, it would be wrong for us not to touch at least your your your email marketing. Or your Google business profile, or your website might be so out of date that we want to update a few things. Like there's a hero section at the top of the blogs. Is it there? When was the last time it was updated? Have you got featured images? Just as important because that social media element will create the interest for them to then move on to the funnel of understanding you. They're going to do their due diligence. They're going to look at your Google reviews. They'll especially as a high ticket item, they're gonna ask AI for some recommendations. And if you are everywhere, if you dominate everywhere, which is totally possible, that's what we want to do. Can loving social media create videos, reels, graphics? Of course, we have our own podcasts. We have our own we I love the video. And then I was speaking to someone yesterday, and they're really terrified of getting in front of that camera. I've been in this situation many times. It's not my first rodeo. Even if you're scared, we got you. Okay, so there's a solution to every problem. Does loving social media manage paid ads? Yes, of course. We look after your paid ads. Price, price and performance. How much does professional social media management cost? Well, really, we have. If you go on our price list, there's a done for you. That starts at 500 and can go up to 2,000. And there's done with you. So that means you do the work and we teach you. So that's a hundred pounds a month. Small business just starting out. More time that wants to work in the business rather than on it. The flip goes to an entrepreneur that is really passionate about being. In the business, rather and and allowing those bigger tasks to be outsourced. That's the smart thing of how you scale. So that's when you come in at the at the smaller package sprinkle, go up to a splash, go up to a tidal. We have I love to see a business go from small to medium to large. That's amazing. How does the onboarding process work? Well, it's pretty simple. You like the sound of us. We organize a Zoom call. Doesn't have to always be Zoom. Some people prefer Meet. Some people prefer Out Outlook. Whatever it happens to be, my team work remotely as well as in in in a physical place. To meet them all is good. So we say let's jump on a Zoom. We have a Zoom. We set expectations. Well, I expect this and I would like this outcome. If you trust us and you like us and you think well these people are reasonable and they sound fantastic and they really care which we do it it then goes on to an onboarding form we send it it's pretty straightforward it will say do you have a YouTube channel no I do not can you give us access to your website no I can't but speak to my web designer so the the whole onboarding form doesn't take very long five minutes It could take 10 because the first question is, "What's your expectation?" That's really important. How does loving social media measure social media performance? Well, there's these metrics that sometimes mean very little. They call them vanity metrics. So you could get a million views, but in Baghdad, and no one cares, or you could use the metric of, "Am I getting more phone calls?" I love email. So one of the metrics is we send out emails for you, and if that turns into a customer, you've just seen it work. If a Facebook inbox comes in says, "I'd like to know more," you know it's working. Those are the metrics I love, but we can supply you with any metrics you want. Can Lovin's social media guarantee follows inquiries and sales? Well, that's a such a good question. It can. Like if you pay enough money, you can guarantee followers. You pay, and they give you followers, whether they're the right ones or not. And it's math. The more you're seen, the more the more inquiries you get. Now, sometimes the lead the call to action. That's the bit where I'm saying, look, give us a call. If you're not answering the call after three rings, if the person at the other end isn't very good. i.e. smiling, standing up, you're going to lose it. So we can prove that the phone's r- has been rung, but whether or not you can complete that is down to you. So we we we take it to a point, but we, I love training. So if that's a situation where we're looking at the holistic point and you're not converting enough, then then that's a conversation we can have. Last couple of questions. How quickly can loving social media begin? Well, we like to definitely get those foundations right. If you can jump on a Zoom, we love each other. We think, well, our our our vision aligns, the expectations align. Well, then from there, we would send you the onboarding form. You fill that all in. Access to your social media is easy and everything's easy. It could be within a couple of days. If finding your Facebook page, some Saturday kid ten, twenty years ago had access and no one has access and you've only got five or six followers, forget it. Just start a new one, right? And then we'll work on merging them. So it does depend, but. That the world record is we've started on the same day. Everything has to be right. Starting a client before actually the expectations are met and onboarding's done properly can lead to disasters. How many loving social media protect clients from logins? Well, the logins are very very well protected. It's by a password I use the industry standard LastPass. We do recommend that the passwords are changed. Some clients have not ever given us access to their their social media management and we will work through their own portals. So it is possible to work with us without ever giving us your password. That is a a thing it can happen. So the the scheduling platforms that. You give us a login details and we just put it in there. How does loving social media ensure content compliant with UK GDPR? Well, look, we we set rules at the beginning. We make sure that everyone knows those rules. AI is amazing nowadays. That could even be an extra layer. So the first layer is we know the rules. Second layer is checked by at least two people before it's sent to you. We will always, always, always. Ask you to look at it before it goes out, and then as a third layer now, AI is amazing. It can have a look at it and make sure that that is happening if you're comfortable with that. Who who owns the social media you do every time, and what happens when there's a complaint or negative comment? Well, we really care about your online reputation, so we have. Looked at many times where someone's given a bad review and got that either removed or changed around. When it comes to social media negativity, the best thing is to ignore it. It truly is. You could switch off the comments. The more you engage with that person, that keyboard warrior, the worse it is. So sometimes you can turn it around. We love innocent smoothies. They would always. be quite playful with their with their audience, and that's us. Like we we turn strangers into customers. We understand the sales funnel. The the founder is the judge in the best business book awards specifically for marketing on my fourth fourth year. I love reading. I love innovation. I I think I'm the only person who I know. I'm the only person that contributed and visited. The biggest social media, conferences in the world. One was San Diego. The other one was London. We're into it. We're a marketing company. We understand that social media is just one element of it. That's the element we love, but we understand all the other bits that make it work. That any marketing agency out there worth their salt has to know how all the platforms work, how marketing, digital marketing works. I hope this has been helpful. Down below is a link to booking an appointment if you want to, and that's the very first process of just having a conversation. So there's a telephone. We we own a landline 0203 846 8888. We're very friendly. If you want to get in touch with us through social media, you're very welcome. I hope you found this useful. I certainly have enjoyed answering some FAQ questions.
